SAN JOSE WATER/PRIMEWATER  INSTALLS STATIC WATER TANKS TO ADDRESS SUPPLY INTERRUPTION AT ELEVATED AREAS

As El Niño phenomenon continues to intensify causing low water pressure in some elevated areas of the City of San Jose Del Monte, San Jose Water and its private partner, Primewater SJDM turned over  static tanks to six barangays to temporarily address service interruptions in the affected areas.

The beneficiary barangays are Bgy. Fatima  5, Bgy. Sta. Cruz III  and IV,    San Isidro, Paradise III, and  San Rafael V.  Each tank has a capacity of 6,000 liters to be filled up daily and are fitted with four faucets.

“These tanks will supply water to the residents of upper portions of these barangays. This is just a temporary set-up while we are laying the necessary infrastructure to bring water pressure to optimum level in these areas,” said GM Lory Limcolioc of San Jose Water.

As of April 30, 2024, San Jose Water has over 127,000 service connections, 96% of which receive sufficient supply.

“We acknowledge technical issues that result to service interruption to 4% of our connections. We have already directed our private partner, Primewater SJDM, to expedite the implementation of infrastructure projects to improve water service in the upper portions of the city,” added GM Limcolioc.
